Stelis

Stelis is a genus of sminiature, small, and moderately sized plants that produce unuusal triangular flowers on upright or arching racemes. Stelis enjoy moderate-moderately bright light, intermediate temperatures, good humidity and air movement. They grow well in plastic pots with moss or a seedling bark (Paph) mix. According to Dr. Robert Dressler, there are 36 species of Stelis found in Panama. Undoubtedly there will be more discovered!

Stelis allenii - (Panama) Showy Pleurothallid with tall upright spikes of shiny black red flowers on plants 5-7" tall. Grow intermediate, with moderate light, evenly moist.
